Hi I'm Joy and I have a passion for Painting and Colour and I love to paint in Oils and Watercolours and sometimes mixed media. I also like to play with clay and I do sculpture and pottery. A Bit about me!

I was born into an artistic family so it was a dead cert I was going to be a creative person one way or another.

Over the years I've painted and potted on my wheel and done sculpture for the garden, made clothes, painted and garden design and oh, and painting!

Either with paint, clay, or loads of other media, it's always been with color!

I paint now more than anything else and it's become a daily passion!

Different subjects catch my eye, sometimes it's because of the play of light, color, or perhaps a narrative idea forms in my mind.

All sorts of subjects from rusting Old Trains, Chickens on Bicycles, Portraits, Seascapes, Still life and even Landscape.

I try to capture light, movement, fun or or an essence with color on my brush or palette knife.

It's what I enjoy and I hope to share that enjoyment with you.
